Sett by jeddibub Sett by jeddibub
Sett, a Calmirian lord that underwent genetic manipulation to increase his Force aptitude and phyiscal strength. As a result, he was grotesquely scarred and so wears a symbiotic suit that can move independently of the host to protect him. In short, one mean guy (in case the severed head didn't give you a clue ;) )

Done with Photoshop and a little bit of Painter. Don't be too harsh on me eh? This was more of a relaxing paint after finishing a series of commissions.

Conceptual design for a fanfilm.

The details are a bit dark, but I love how the really blurry background brings the emphasis to the character entirely.

The foggy effect that you have in the backfround is so awesome for the whole piece. The whole design of the creature is neat and I like the touch of the head he is holding onto. Quite spooky and well done

Thanks! Someone actually described it as having a New England/London feel with the atmosphere and lamp lights, which I thought was interesting considering the big old lightsaber there! LOL :D Thanks so much for the wonderful comment, I really do appreciate the support. :)

Thanks for taking the time to comment. :) The linework was probably about 45 min from sketch to inked and the digital colouring was a several hours on and off. :D

my god that looks awesome.

love the way you did the saber, gives it more of an evil look, no? lol but anyway nice everything, the background adds to the spooky effect. the way his cloths and stuf flows in teh wind is nice too.

Thanks for your kind words! :glomp: I really like doing my sabers that way, I don't know where it came from but I like them to be more dynamic than a neon bar. Gives a bit of individuality I hope. :) Thanks again for your wonderful comment, far too kind!
