Digital colour applied to the line art of the previous decayed horse image. Took me several hours over a couple of days layering the colour just so.

It's such a detailed and strong foreground it really works the way you have the light shades and simple suggestions of form in the background.

Thank you...yes I wanted to keep things very simple in the background. You see far too many images confused by sudden addition of a massively detailed background, you almost lose the focus of the whole image. Thanks again! :D

I have a hp scanjet 2200c. I scanned the pencil art on 300dpi and mucked around with the contrast and stuff on photoshop before beginning the colouring.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone! :D Oh and I know meihua! ;P Poor little horsie end up on floor!
