Another piece of quick sketch work manipulated with Photoshop CS. This piece was more about creating a mood or feeling, focusing heavily on a sense of mystery or sorrow or obsession. I intended with the sketch for this to be Feanor (of the Silmarils), but please do not crucify me if he is supposed to be blond or not carry a staff or any other detail. He would do also nice Finwë guiding his folk to Aman
Curufinwë Fëanáro was definitely raven black haired and your elves do the justice for all the dark haired Tolkien elves, so messed in the movie. Except golden haired Vanyar, most of elves had dark hair, with some exceptions, of course.
