When it rains it pours, but don't worry soon this insane spurt of Star Wars themed pieces will stop, I just need to get it out of my system (remember the elves? ;P ).

The character is Kit Fisto, the alien in the prequels that looks rather like the alien from Men in Black but i won't go into that. :D I based this image more off the concept art for him rather than his eventual film look, I preferred it to be honest. I just felt like doing something a little moody, hence the dark nature and wanted to work on my lighting skills.

Woa... his face is prfect and the lighting, I can't even BEGIN to type about it, but I do sorta agree with , the saber does look a little off near the base, around about where his flowing, white cloth, thing is....

Yeah...I agree. It's definitely bent. I'll try and fix it sometime...or I might leave it cauz I'm that lazy! :D Thanks for the compliment about the lighting though...that's what I was really trying to focus on!

Excellent emotion. I love the contrast between the light at top to the darkness at bottom. There is a little bit of unneeded movement. He seems to be resting, but the cloth (loin cloth?) seems to be moving. Just wondering what's up...

Haha...your totally right about the Men and Black alien. I love how you did the lighting and coloring, it really adds to the whole mood of the piece. Those guys above me are right about the light saber but thats really just a minor distraction from a other wise great piece. Very well done! I think this is a keeper for me also:)
