Very nice job on the proportions and posing, his muzzle looks a bit long though, but that could just be the tiger speaking. I wouldn't think the jacket would reveal his muscles as much as it does though, Especially if it were leather, which seems like a natrual choice for him.. but it could be anything.. liquid latex for all I know.
I do not like taurs... :C I think they are entirely unfeasible on a fundimental level... but, artistically speaking, you did it justice here. I'm possitive you already know this, but you should check out Kacey's art if you want some other good examples.
WOW! I agree with Cornus, this is an amazing piece of art! If I were to see a live fauxtaur tomorow, I wouldn't be suprised if it looked exactly like that! Amazing detail and reality. Keep up the phenominal work!
Quit being so dog gone talented!
This is wicked. Totally dig the lighting n' the background as much as I love the dynamics you've given the figure. Taurs are not easy for everyone, but you've made it look extremely fluid. Nice job gal
Taurs are so difficult! just when you get the bottom bit right, the top doesn't work. I had so many alterations on this it wasn't funny but I am pleased with the final. I'm glad you like it, I appreciate your kind words and support.
I hope all is getting better with you, tough year sounds like. Hope to see some more beautiful work from you soon.
It's like a centaur. The wonders of imagination make things like this plausible...after all I'm sure there are many 'silly' designs that are impossible. Like those little non-attached wing things on anime characters, and so many more.
I understand the concept, I guess I just don't get the why. Non-attatched wing things are usually for aesthetics, and centaurs have to have 6 limbs to accommodate for the human aspect...I guess it just takes getting used to with creatures you already have 4 legs, or that you don't usually see it with, like with a fox. But I mean, if foxes have become bipedal in the future, then I suppose making them a quadruped all over again would be a possible step.
You already know my stance on taurs… but at least it's not a chakat... man, I was about to freak if it was... I'm sick of that person raking in thousands of dollars and then going around commissioning all best artists he can get a hold of...
There's nothing too complicated about it... I just thing they’re abominations of nature... Like, nothing on a genetic or physiological level could ever justify their existence... The ONLY acceptable answer I will even consider is that they are magical beasts. For some reason, I don’t think that’s the case here though. *narrows eyes*
