Anthro of the World by jeddibub Anthro of the World by jeddibub
I've always loved national/ traditional dress of countries around the world, so beautiful and intricate. I originally was going to leave these as linework but I managed to find a few hours here and there for each of these gradually over the last month. I'm quite proud of these.

Would anyone like to see other countries in particular? I can't guarantee I'll be able to find time but just wondering what national dress people like.

These are for sale at furbid if you're interested, along with other auctions still going on:

I'm not a big fan of anthro but this is so beautiful :D Love especially the brown feline up in the middle, what nation is she inspired with? I think some Slavic but I'm not sure..

Absolutely excellent, and I love the alpine one especially!

High on a hill stood a lonely feline, le-he-oh-ah-le-he-oh-ah-le-hi-hooo!

What's the top-center one, though? A South American
country?

I like the red panda one, it looks so awesome! You should do Nepal or Tibet. I loves them snow leopards. Or pacific islander, that'd be interesting.

These are amazing--like a lot of the commenters have said, anthro art that delves into national costumes like this is really rare!

I think some African or Polynesian outfits might be interesting to see, or perhaps a rehash of the countries you've just shown only in a different time-period?

These are exquisitely done, though for some reason, the geisha made me giggle. I have no idea why.

It might be interesting to see your take on Australian Aboriginal people, Eskimos/Inuit, Basques, and perhaps the Italian look. (Venezians have high fashion and high shoes.)

What about the Norwegian traditional outfits? There are even different kinds of styles depending on which part in Norway you are from. :)

Maybe the anthro could be the Norwegian Lynx Lynx, :) It has a special color to the fur that spreads over a warm orange to brown, I think.

Quite lovely animal.

These are wonderful. You did a fantastic job on the details. I would love to see a traditional Spanish flamenco inspired one. Both the male and female costumes for that are stunning. Spain was such a beautiful place to live... I miss it. Maybe someday I can take my kids back there and they can see it too.

What's the middle one? Tibetan-inspired?
And I like the Middle-left one because it looks like a Tauren (except alot more serious and realistic)

The middle character is a tibetan monk. They play ancient horns to signal prayer or at festivals.

A lot of people compare any bovine characters I draw to Tauren. I just like drawing cattle to be honest :)
